Smart Contract Engineer
At BitU, we are seeking a Smart Contract Engineer to join our Tech Team responsible for developing decentralized stablecoin and DeFi solutions.As a Smart Contract Developer, you will be responsible for coding the core logic of DeFi applications. Through the use of blockchain technology and smart contracts, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of finance.
Responsibilities
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the team's vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for BitU's products.
- Develop secure, efficient, and scalable smart contracts on Ethereum-based platforms.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the quality and security of smart contracts.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of smart contract code, functionality, and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to seamlessly integrate smart contracts with the application's front end and other components.
- Collaborate with auditors to identify and address vulnerabilities in the system.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- 3 years experience with Web3 libraries and backend development (e.g. ethers.js, vue).
- 2 years of experience deploying smart contracts on Ethereum mainnet (or other EVM mainnets).
- Deep understanding of smart contract best practices and current industry patterns.
- B.S. or higher in computer science, software engineering or related technical field.
- Passion for blockchain technology, cryptonomic protocol design, game theory, and decentralized finance.
Head of Marketing
We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working marketing director to join our team. As the head of marketing, you will lead BitU’s brand strategy, campaigns, events, and marketing initiatives. You will be the sole custodian of the BitU brand in the digital space, owning the brand narrative across diverse channels ultimately growing brand awareness, sentiment, and relevance among target users.Responsibilities
- Brainstorm GTM strategies with the founders.
- Create social media marketing campaigns to grow our community and drive user signups.
- Drive marketing & growth initiatives from start to finish. This role requires someone who can take full ownership of initiatives, from ideating to coordinating with our team to make them happen.
- Comfortable owning all marketing & growth initiatives with a limited budget. Know how to “growth hack”.
- Continually analyze digital media metrics, competitors, and market narratives to identify growth strategies, leading a dynamic and responsive content plan.
- Live and breathe crypto Twitter and Discord; always on top of the industry trends, the competitive landscape and customer needs to ensure our market narratives remain relevant and effective.
Requirements
- +5 years experience in leading marketing roles at a high-growth tech startup, preferably in web3 with a focus on DeFi or developer. tooling.
- Proven ability to use social media to build communities at scale, with experience in everything from high-quality blog posts, explainer threads, product marketing, memes.
- Good track record in leading and managing marketing initiatives from start to finish, with expertise in all key areas of marketing.
- Excellent copywriting skills and ability to develop and adapt tone of voice for various target audiences with deep understanding of social media platforms, especially Twitter, Discord and YouTube.
